Strolling through Kyoto's charm 🌸
The location was just bang on, right near Nishiki Market! Loved the lekker onsen after a day out, and the brekkie spread was good—great balance of western and Japanese. Plus, the staff were sharp-sharp!
Only thing was, the happy hour felt a bit short—could’ve done with more time to chill!

The lounge access was a delightful feature, providing a cozy retreat with refreshments throughout our stay.
Unfortunately, the bathroom setup was less than ideal, as the plastic door felt cheap and provided little privacy.

We had a braw time here! The onsen was pure dead brilliant after a day out, and we loved the free snacks and drinks in the lounge. Just a wee downside, the frosted windows in our room made it a bit claustrophobic. Still, would come back for the onsen, no doubt!

An ideal choice for a weekend jaunt in Kyoto with good price-quality ratio. The onsen was a nice surprise, perfect after our long days. Remember to check laundry hours early, as it gets busy!

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel because of the generous afternoon happy hours offering free drinks and snacks. The room was spacious and clean, a pleasant surprise for hotels in Japan. The Onsen was fantastic—big and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Great that it was so close to the Nishiki Market, just a short 10-minute stroll. The breakfast was varied, though I found the western options a bit lacking. There was no real privacy in the shower area. the plastic door felt flimsy and offered no real sound barrier, which was a little uncomfortable. I'd say the amenities were excellent, just a few small tweaks needed to make it truly perfect. Would definitely consider returning next time.

The lounge access was a nice touch, providing a cozy spot for relaxation and refreshments throughout the day. The room had a decent size, allowing for some comfort during our stay.
The windows in the room are sealed tight and completely obscure your view, making it feel like you’re in a box. The bathroom setup was not ideal. the plastic door felt cheap and the storage was lacking, with a narrow and short single shelf. The onsen, though popular, was small and a bit unclean. The lack of information on occupancy ahead of time meant our visits were a gamble. with only two washing machines available, it was tricky to find time to do laundry without waiting. I found the layout could use some organization compared to other hotels, leaving us wanting in terms of storage.

I especially appreciated the cleanliness and organization of the hotel. It features cozy common areas, making it easy to relax and enjoy refreshments at any time. The staff's attentiveness greatly enhanced the overall welcoming ambiance.
Add more accessible seating in common areas.
